Web Chat - "Get a room!"

Would you like to start your own chat room and make it easy for friends to join? Well you can, and best of all it is free and easy to setup!

All you need to do is copy and paste the code below into your MySpace Profile or Website and choose your own unique chat room (channel) name. Change #chat below to be something unique, such as #yourname

<form method="post" action="http://www.eyerc.net/cgi-bin/cgiirc/irc.cgi" name="loginform" id="ietest" target="foobar:width=760, height=350, scrollbars=0, {(isResizable)?'resizable':''}, status".."return createTarget(this);"> <input type="hidden" name="interface" value="nonjs"> <input name="Channel" type="hidden" id="Channel" value="#chat"> <input name="Server" type="hidden" id="Server" value="koala.eyerc.net"> Nickname: <input name="Nickname" type="text" value="" size="10">&nbsp; <input name="submit" type="submit" value="Chat!"> </form><BR>

To maintain ownership of your channel, we recommend you register it, using the instructions on our support page.

To add someone elses chat room to your own profile/page (eg so a group of friends end up in the same chat room), simply use the same channel name in your code.

If you have any problems with the above code, please email the webmaster at the bottom of this page.

Note: It appears that MySpace currently filters out # characters so the above code will not work unless you replace the # with a quote (") - So it would look like this: value=""yourname"

Please consider donating a few dollars to help cover some of the running costs of EYErc.net.
